Lasciati trasportare dall’ambiente del Wild West Saloon durante il Verzasca Country Festival di Sonogno, uno dei più caratteristici villaggi della Valle Verzasca. Oltre alla musica non mancheranno sculture in legno create con la motosega, coreografie di Country line dance, leccornie alla griglia da leccarsi i baffi, bancarelle e tante persone munite di stivali da cowboy. Un evento ideale per tutti gli amanti del country, per le famiglie e chiunque voglia passare una giornata all’insegna della genuinità.

Frasco-Sonogno
Güstemm er Verzasca è un evento enogastronomico nato dal desiderio di far riscoprire i sapori, i prodotti e gli angoli caratteristici della Valle Verzasca. Tramite passeggiate mangerecce coronate da golose soste dove i produttori, i ristoratori e le associazioni della Verzasca e del Piano propongono cibi e bevande di produzione locale, si vuole portare i partecipanti nei vecchi nuclei e nelle strecce dei paesi della valle, nei paesaggi naturali e incontaminati e lungo sentieri dimenticati. Una manifestazione itinerante che ogni anno propone una giornata da passare in compagnia gustando le proposte culinarie del nostro territorio.

This agency for the development of the region was formed in 2006 to promote and coordinate initiatives in the Valle Verzasca with the support of the Associazione dei Comuni di Valle Verzasca.

SEV
Founded in 1983, the Società Escursionistica Verzaschese (SEV) offers an extensive annual programme for mountain hiking enthusiasts. Also focuses on keeping the mountains and paths of the Valle Verzasca clean and restored.
Gruppo Costumi Verzaschesi
In 1934, the Pro Verzasca association founded the costume group to preserve and raise awareness about the valley’s traditions and costumes. Some of the costumes date from the 18th century; others have been historically reconstructed. They participate in historical events in Ticino and across Switzerland every year.

The primary aim of the Verzasca choral group is to promote careful performance of popular songs. It participates in festivals, celebrations and official events in the Valle Verzasca, on the Piano di Magadino and elsewhere as invited.

The permanent exhibition sheds light on the customs and traditions of the valley's inhabitants, with objects from daily life and historically reconstructed rooms. Since 2021 the top floor and the attic have been home to the permanent exhibition "Carefree childhood? The case of the Verzasca chimney sweep children and child labour today'. Next to the historic Genardini house, a new exhibition space was created in 2017, the Laboratory of Ancient Gestures, which explores the theme of the Verzasca landscape and transhumance. In addition to proposing temporary exhibitions, historical research and publications, the Museum is also present in other places in the valley with 5 ethnographic itineraries, the Mill and the Power Plant in Frasco and the Small Museum in Odro.
